Check out these tips that will help your students and parents/family members quickly view important announcements and assignment information.

Tip 1: Students and parents/family members often get confused when the Stream includes classwork announcements as well as your personal announcements. The classwork announcements automatically post in the Stream every time you post a new assignment in the Classwork tab. The Stream should really be used for important announcements you want your students to read, such as schedule changes, assignments for the day/week, after school help, etc. Watch the short video to see how to adjust your Stream settings so only your personal announcements show.
Tip 2: When naming your Topics, consider using the days or the week or weeks to help students and parents/families know what they have to complete/focus on each week or day. This also helps if students are absent for a day (or more) to know what work they missed. Try to always include due dates as well so that students and parents/family members know when work is due. If parents/family members have connected as a Guardian, they will be alerted when their child has missed a due date.
